Frostburg State University honored Kristen Bachtel, Crystal Miller and William Vasko with the annual Staff Awards for Excellence, which recognize exceptional service to the institution. Recipients are nominated and choses by their colleagues.
Recently retired Frostburg State University Chief of Police, Cindy Smith, was the 2024 recipient of the President’s Distinguished Staff Award, which recognizes a staff member who has provided exceptional service to the University and has helped to advance its mission, goals and priorities.
Dr. Sarah O’Neal, associate professor and director of the Children’s Literature Centre (CLC) at Frostburg State University, has been selected as the 2024 recipient of the President’s Distinguished Faculty Award.
